I am delighted you are considering the role of Head of People, Insight, Technology and Performance here at Essex County Council.

We are changing the way we re-imagine, shape, and deliver services to our thriving County. The potential is enormous as we make better use of data to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and most importantly deliver improved outcomes for the communities we serve.

As Executive Director of People & Transformation I recognise the impact that the People, Insight, Technology and Performance team will have to our internal workforce. This post will play a key role in the success of our People Plan, ensuring we have the right people and the right technology to deliver our workforce strategy ambitions.

Our people processes are efficient, effective, and driven by business insight and technology - enabling productive ways of working is crucial to support our delivery. We want to continue the journey we have been on in recent years and use people insight to help us identify emerging trends to develop our workforce and stay ahead of changes in the environment.
